FATAL PEDESTRIAN CRASH INVESTIGATION
According to Candice Bond, a seasoned pedestrian accident attorney, many fatal pedestrian incidents stem from driver negligence.
In 2022, drivers killed an estimated 7,508 pedestrians — the highest number recorded in four decades, according to the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA). Contributing factors often include speeding, distracted driving, and driving under the influence.
Bond emphasized the importance of an independent investigation in cases like this to ensure the victim’s family is fully protected.
“Having the proper resources is extremely important to investigate a pedestrian accident case and prove negligence,” said Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “Road conditions, signage visibility, and lighting must all be thoroughly examined. These steps are crucial in helping families obtain the justice and compensation they deserve.”
WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM
The family members of Claudia Hernandez may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. Loved ones of wrongful death victims can seek compensation for loss of companionship, pain, suffering, and emotional distress following a tragic accident.
“We understand just what families are forced to go through, and having their rights protected is vital,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal. “A wrongful death lawyer will monitor the official investigation closely and work to ensure the family’s best interests are upheld. Families are entitled to seek justice and damages for the deep emotional and personal losses they’ve endured.”
