CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED
Distracted driving, speeding, and impaired driving continue to be leading causes of traffic fatalities across the United States. According to the National Safety Council’s (NSC) preliminary 2024 report, an estimated 44,680 people lost their lives in motor vehicle crashes nationwide.
As authorities investigate the cause and liability of the crash that claimed the life of Christian Solis, Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national legal analyst for The Legal Advocate, emphasized the importance of conducting an independent investigation.
“In addition to the diligent work of law enforcement, an attorney can re-interview key witnesses, review any available surveillance footage, and secure phone or texting records from the at-fault party,” said Bond. “These steps are crucial in determining exactly what happened and ensuring accountability.”
Bond noted that such independent investigations often uncover critical evidence that helps families pursue justice and rightful compensation in the wake of a tragic loss.
WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM
Pending the outcome of the investigation, the family of Christian Solis may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. Such claims allow surviving loved ones to seek compensation for the loss of companionship, emotional distress, pain and suffering, and other damages resulting from a catastrophic incident.
“We understand that losing a loved one is not only a deeply emotional loss but also an economic one,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal.
“If you have lost a loved one due to someone else’s negligence, it is important to speak with a wrongful death attorney who can provide the guidance and support necessary to pursue justice and secure fair compensation.”
