Chad Kampbell was tragically killed Friday in a head-on collision on Highway 126 in Piru.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED
Head-on collisions are among the most devastating types of motor vehicle accidents, largely due to the extreme force generated when two vehicles traveling in opposite directions collide at high speeds.
Though they represent only about 2 percent of all traffic crashes, head-on accidents account for 10 percent of all motor vehicle fatalities, according to national data. These tragic incidents are often the result of driver error or negligence, such as distracted driving, impairment, fatigue, or unsafe passing maneuvers.
The Insurance Information Institute reports that approximately 3,631 motorists die in head-on crashes each year.
Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a nationally recognized auto accident attorney, stresses the importance of launching an independent investigation in the aftermath of such crashes.
“An attorney can collect the proper evidence to help prove that a driver’s actions were reckless, which requires a variety of resources,” said Bond. “As an advocate, an attorney can help compassionately guide a grieving family during this difficult time, protecting their legal rights and best interests, while ensuring that a driver who does not obey traffic laws is held accountable.”
WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM
The family members of Chad Kampbell may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. In cases involving fatal accidents, surviving loved ones can seek compensation for damages such as loss of companionship, pain and suffering, emotional distress, and other hardships stemming from their tragic loss.
“We understand just what families are forced to go through, and having their rights protected is vital,” said Candice Bond, Of Counsel with Bond Legal. “A wrongful death lawyer will remain involved in the investigation and ensure that the family's best interests are prioritized. Relatives of wrongful death victims have the right to pursue justice and compensation for their immense loss.”
