CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Head-on collisions are significantly more common in rural areas, accounting for about 13 percent of all rural fatal crashes. In comparison, they make up nearly 7 percent of deadly accidents in urban settings, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and an experienced auto accident attorney, emphasized the importance of conducting an independent investigation in cases like this to protect the rights of the victim’s family.

“Time is critical in fatal crash cases,” said Bond. “The family must act swiftly to ensure evidence is properly preserved and analyzed. Often, an accident reconstruction team is required to determine the exact cause and sequence of events.”

Bond added that these investigative resources are essential in helping families seek the justice and compensation they deserve following such a devastating loss.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the results of the investigation, the family members of Puneet Singh Sohi and Premjeet Brar may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim. Such claims may include compensation for loss of companionship, emotional distress, pain and suffering, and funeral expenses resulting from a catastrophic incident like this.

“The stress and sorrow can be incredibly overwhelming after the sudden loss of a loved one,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal.

“We understand the deep emotional toll these tragedies take, and it's essential that families have their legal rights protected during such a difficult time.”
