Tuesday afternoon crash with pickup truck was on Chum Creek Road
REDDING, CA, (August 27, 2024) - A 20-year-old motorcyclist died Tuesday afternoon in a collision involving a pickup truck in Redding.
Matthew Cardilino was fatally injured Tuesday afternoon when a pickup truck collided with the motorcycle he was driving along Chum Creek Road in Redding.
According to the Redding Police Department, Matthew Ray Cardilino was operating a motorcycle northbound in the 2900 block of Chum Creek Road when a pickup truck pulled out of a private driveway and collided with the bike at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Sadly, Cardilino died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
