CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED
NHTSA reports that most head-on accidents result from driver error, distraction, or impairment.
These mistakes may cause vehicles to enter oncoming traffic or lose control. Speeding, poor road design, and low visibility can also contribute to head-on accidents. Although they account for only two percent of all accidents, head-on crashes cause 10 percent of all car motor vehicle fatalities. Head-on collisions often result in severe injuries, including traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).
Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney, said in cases such as this, it is imperative to have an independent investigation conducted into the crash by a seasoned lawyer to preserve evidence for the injured victim more effectively.
“An attorney can collect the proper evidence to help prove that a driver’s actions were reckless, which requires a variety of resources,” said Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “As an advocate, an attorney can help compassionately guide an injured victim during this difficult time, protecting their legal rights and best interests, while ensuring that a driver who does not obey traffic laws is held accountable.”
PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM
The individuals injured in this accident may have the right to file a personal injury lawsuit. Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal, emphasized that the stress and anxiety following a serious injury can be overwhelming, impacting every area of life—from family and work to finances and overall well-being.
“While no amount of compensation can undo the harm caused by a severe injury, it’s crucial that victims understand their legal rights and what they may be entitled to,” Bond said. “Those injured in this collision might be eligible to pursue a claim to recover damages for medical bills, future care, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.”
