DUI CRASH INVESTIGATION

Every year, approximately 300,000 innocent victims are injured in drunk driving accidents, according to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).

These crashes all have one thing in common: They were all preventable as driving under the influence puts everyone on the road at risk. Candice Bond, an experienced DUI accident attorney, was interviewed and provided her thoughts on such incidents.

“Separate from criminal charges, a victim may be entitled to compensation through a civil lawsuit against the responsible party, said Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “As an advocate, an attorney can help compassionately guide an injured victim during this difficult time, protecting their legal rights, while ensuring that a driver who takes the wheel under the influence is held accountable for their actions.”

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

The victims injured in this accident may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal, noted that the stress and worry following a serious injury can be overwhelming, affecting all aspects of life, including family, work, finances, and overall well-being.

“Although no amount of money can fully make up for a devastating injury, it is important that victims understand their rights and what they are entitled to by law,” Bond said. “The injured victims in this collision may be entitled to a personal injury claim and could seek recovery for damages including medical expenses, future medical care, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.”
