FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH INVESTIGATION
Cars often collide with motorcycles because their small size makes them harder to see, especially when turning or merging. Drivers may misjudge motorcycles’ speed or overlook them in blind spots, increasing the risk of serious accidents.
Crashes such as the one that prematurely took the life of Mr. Soriano often occur when a driver fails to yield to a motorcycle. In 2023, 6,335 motorcyclists died, representing 15% of all motor vehicle crash fatalities.
Candice Bond, an experienced motorcycle accident attorney, emphasized that in cases like this, it is crucial to have an independent investigation into the crash conducted by a seasoned lawyer to protect the rights of the victim’s family.
“Motorcycle riders are arguably the most vulnerable motorists on the roadways, given the fact that there are no airbags or sturdy windows to protect them from an impact,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “An accident reconstruction team is sometimes needed to help piece together what happened. All of these resources are necessary for helping clients receive monetary compensation for damages or a loss following a collision.”
