Monday collision happened at Alden Highway and Bailey Road
ANTRIM, MI, (September 23, 2024) - A tragic accident at the intersection of Alden Highway and Bailey Road on Monday resulted in the death of a motorcycle driver.
Daniel Patton lost his life on Monday as the result of a collision between his motorcycle and a tractor-trailer at an Antrim County intersection.
The victim has been identified as Daniel Patton, a veteran paramedic in northern Michigan. Patton was traveling east on Alden Highway in Antrim County on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when the accident occurred.
According to the sheriff’s office, a tractor-trailer, driven by a 61-year-old man from Wyoming, Michigan, was traveling south on Bailey Road. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
