Firefighters rushed to an apartment building after reports of visible smoke from the structure, triggering a first alarm response. The fire broke out at 6055 Strauss Road on March 22 at 4:20 p.m. Emergency personnel observed smoke emanating from the building and called for air base support to aid in the rapid response effort.
