CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

In a collision between a motor vehicle and a bicyclist, it is typically the cyclist who suffers the most severe injuries or fatal outcomes. Experts urge drivers to give cyclists ample space and avoid passing too closely. According to official data, nearly 1,000 bicyclists are killed and over 130,000 are injured in crashes across the U.S. each year.

“Bicyclists are particularly vulnerable on the road, and many factors can contribute to serious crashes,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and an experienced bicycle accident attorney.

“It is imperative to determine the exact cause of these accidents,” Bond continued. “An attorney can review insurance policies, engage expert witnesses, run background checks, and identify key eyewitnesses. We work closely with the victim’s family to guide them through the legal process with care and compassion.”

Bond emphasized the importance of conducting an independent investigation as early as possible to preserve crucial evidence.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the results of any investigations, the family members of Kenneth Lauer may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. Survivors of wrongful death victims may seek damages for loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a catastrophic accident such as this incident.

Bond Legal stated, “Grieving families of victims are sometimes overwhelmed by the legal processes that are in place to protect their rights.”

“An attorney can be a valuable and compassionate resource to help guide a family during this difficult time, and ensure that those left behind receive the restitution they are entitled to.”
