Deadly accident occurred on Interstate 10 east of Wiley’s Well Road
BLYTHE, CA, (August 02, 2025) - A 33-year-old man from Orange County was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday morning on eastbound Interstate 10 in Riverside County, authorities said.
Christian Hughes, a 33-year-old resident of Huntington Beach, was killed in a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident Friday morning in Blythe, authorities said.
The victim has been identified as Christian Hughes, a resident of Huntington Beach.
According to early reports, Hughes was hit by an unknown vehicle at approximately 11:20 a.m. near Wiley’s Well Road in Blythe. He tragically died at the scene just before noon.
Details regarding the driver involved have not been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
