CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

Each year, thousands of pedestrians are killed on U.S. roads—a crisis driven by factors such as reckless driver behavior, inadequate infrastructure, and roads designed primarily for cars. Between 2009 and 2023, pedestrian deaths rose a staggering 80%, while all other traffic fatalities increased 13%, according to the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA).

“In most instances, pedestrians possess the right of way when crossing an intersection or a street regardless of if they are in a marked crosswalk,” said Candice Bond, an experienced pedestrian accident attorney.

Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal, noted that in cases such as this, it is imperative to have an independent probe conducted by a seasoned lawyer to help protect the rights of the victim.

“Having the proper resources is extremely important in order to investigate a pedestrian accident case and prove negligence,” Bond added.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

Pending the results of the investigation, the family of Christian Hughes may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim to seek compensation for the loss of love, companionship, and emotional support.

“The grief experienced after losing a loved one in a tragic accident can be unbearable,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal.

“Having legal representation is crucial to ensure the family’s rights are protected during such a vulnerable time. A wrongful death attorney can help guide them through the legal process, remain informed on the investigation, and advocate for the justice they deserve.”

“Insurance companies often aim to minimize payouts, and without proper legal guidance, families may be left with inadequate support. An experienced attorney ensures their interests are represented fairly.”
