FRESNO, CA, (July 10, 2025) - A 55-year-old man from Parlier sustained moderate injuries Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at a Fresno intersection involving a driver who reportedly failed to yield, according to police.

Fresno Two-Vehicle Accident July 10th; Parlier Man Injured in Crash with Brian SepeA 55-year-old Parlier man was injured Thursday in a collision with a driver who allegedly failed to yield at a Fresno intersection.

The crash occurred around 2:35 p.m. as the victim was driving a Ford eastbound on South Avenue. Authorities say Brian Sepe, operating a Subaru northbound on DeWolf Avenue, allegedly failed to yield at a posted stop sign and entered the intersection, striking the Ford.

The injured driver was transported for treatment of moderate injuries. The incident remains under active investigation by local authorities.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

When a driver has the right-of-way, it is the legal responsibility of other motorists to yield and allow them to safely proceed through the intersection. Failure-to-yield collisions are frequently caused by driver error, according to Candice Bond, an experienced auto accident attorney. Contributing factors often include impatience, distracted driving, and reckless behavior. Notably, nearly 40% of car crashes occur at intersections.

Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and a national legal analyst for The Legal Advocate, stressed that regardless of official police findings, it is critical for victims to have an independent investigation conducted by a qualified attorney.

“An attorney can gather the necessary evidence to demonstrate that a driver’s actions were reckless, which often requires various resources,” said Bond. “Beyond building a case, an attorney serves as a compassionate advocate, helping guide injured victims while fiercely protecting their rights and interests.”

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM

The 55-year-old Parlier man injured in this collision may have grounds to pursue a personal injury claim. Candice Bond, Of Counsel with Bond Legal, emphasized that the aftermath of a serious injury can be overwhelming—impacting every aspect of a victim’s life, from family and work to finances and overall well-being.

“While no amount of compensation can undo the physical and emotional toll of a serious injury, it is essential that victims understand their legal rights and the remedies available to them under the law,” Bond said. “In this case, the injured party may be entitled to pursue a claim for damages, which could include compensation for medical expenses, future medical care, emotional distress, and pain and suffering.”
