What Legal Options Exist After Fatal Crashes?

In cases such as this, families may pursue civil claims for medical and funeral expenses, loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.

“Separate from criminal charges, a victim’s family may be entitled to compensation through a civil lawsuit against the responsible party. An attorney can re-interview witnesses, analyze surveillance video, and obtain phone and texting records while guiding families through the process.”
