Victim Airlifted After Smoke Inhalation in Ambler Fire

A victim suffering from smoke inhalation was rescued from a structure fire in serious condition and airlifted to a nearby medical facility early Sunday morning. The blaze broke out at 238 Highland Ave. around 9:19 a.m. on Jan. 5. Emergency crews dispatched a medevac helicopter to transport the individual extracted from the burning structure.
