Firefighters tackled a two-alarm fire at a two-story building located at 81 East 39th Street on Jan. 5. Emergency crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions inside the structure. Ladder teams worked to open the building for ventilation of smoke and heat, as mutual aid was called in to help manage the incident.
