Firefighters responded to a two-alarm blaze that erupted on the fourth floor of a five-story apartment building at 2270 Washington Ave. in the Bronx early Wednesday morning. The fire was reported at 1:06 a.m. on Jan. 15 in the old masonry dwelling. Division 7 managed the response, with two lines stretched and one in operation. Ladder 27 acted as the FAST team.
