A technical rescue operation is underway after a hiker suffered a fall on the Fox Run Trail in Breakheart Reservation, leading to a broken arm from severe icy conditions. The fall happened Jan. 1 at about 11:08 a.m. between Pierce Lake and Silver Lake. Responders indicated that the highly slippery ice is making the extraction particularly challenging.
