A suspicious rubbish and fence fire was reported at a residence on Jan. 14. The incident took place at 74 Northern Parkway West in Plainview around 12:42 p.m. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, with no extension to the dwelling. Nassau County Fire Marshals have been requested to investigate the suspicious circumstances.
