Hicksville Fire Department crews responded to a residence on Hunters Lane following a stove fire that resulted in smoke damage throughout the home. The incident was reported Jan. 2 at approximately 12:02 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the stove fire had already been extinguished. They conducted thorough checks for any fire extension and began venting the structure to clear the smoke.
