Smoke filled the lobby of a hotel after improper use of a microwave prompted a quick response from firefighters. The incident took place at 21 Wrightstown Cookstown Road in North Hanover Township, New Jersey, in Burlington County. Fire department personnel arrived around 12:39 a.m. on Jan. 3 to vent the building and confirm safety. No injuries were reported, and the situation was resolved without additional issues.
