Firefighters responded to smoke damage at an apartment building following an incident where plastic material burnt on top of a stove. According to the 1st Responder Wireless News Dispatch, the call came in on Jan. 9 at 7:49 a.m. The incident involved no actual fire or extension beyond the stove, but smoke filled the unit at 3245 Rio Drive, Apt. 913. Crews requested fans to ventilate and remove the smoke from the premises.
