Smoke Damage Reported in Laurel Apartment Building

Smoke damage was reported in an apartment building on Jan. 5. Emergency crews arrived at 607 7th St. around 6:02 p.m. after reports of smoke in apartment 108. One engine and one additional unit stayed on scene to ventilate the building and address potential hazards.

No injuries occurred, and the incident was confined to the affected apartment. Officials continue to investigate the source of the smoke.
