Firefighters responded to reports of smoke damage at a residence on Pace Drive South due to an oil burning puff back. Emergency crews were dispatched to 112 Pace Dr. S. in West Islip on Jan. 2 at approximately 11:07 p.m. Stand-by crews are handling the situation, with initial reports indicating smoke from the oil burner malfunction.
