Firefighters responded to reports of smoke and elevated carbon monoxide levels at a commercial building on Old Country Road, caused by a malfunctioning oil burner. The incident occurred Jan. 8 at approximately 8:01 p.m. at 1800 Old Country Road. Upon arrival, the fire department identified the faulty burner as the source. The Fire Marshal is investigating the malfunction.
