Serious Dump Truck Crash Traps Two, Shuts Route 16

A serious two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck caused heavy entrapment and forced the shutdown of Route 16 near Flynn Road on Jan. 7. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 9:15 a.m., where the dump truck was found on its side. Occupants were trapped in both vehicles, and one patient was in critical condition, requiring medevac to a medical facility. Additional resources, including a second ambulance, another set of jaws of life and an ALS truck from Frisbee EMS, were dispatched to assist.
