Firefighters responded to a blaze at a two-story wood-frame home, rescuing one occupant from the building. A second alarm was called to bring additional crews to the scene. The fire was reported on Jan. 14 around 10:17 a.m. at 271 Gracey Ave. in Meriden, Connecticut. Responders from Meriden and nearby areas, including New Haven, were dispatched to the incident.
