These statistics underscore the vulnerability of motorcyclists, who lack the protective enclosure of passenger vehicles.

National analysts with Newsline emphasize the preventability of many such incidents through attentive driving.

“Most motorcycle accidents are preventable and often caused by negligent drivers of passenger vehicles,” said Candice Bond, managing partner at Bond Legal. “Many drivers do not pay enough attention to motorcyclists: They sometimes change lanes without checking their rearview mirrors, which results in them hitting bikers, running them off the road, or pulling out in front of law-abiding bikers, leaving bikers with no time to stop.”

In cases such as this, an independent investigation by a qualified attorney can safeguard families' interests.

  • Motorcyclists face heightened risks from blind spots and distracted drivers.
  • Legal professionals can engage witnesses, review insurance, and support grieving families.
  • Thorough investigations reveal crash causes and potential liabilities.

“The stress and sorrow can be extremely overwhelming after losing a loved one in an accident,” said Stefano Formica, of counsel with Bond Legal. “We understand just what families are forced to go through, and having their rights protected is vital.”

Families may pursue claims for loss of companionship, emotional distress, and other damages following such tragedies.
