An 80-year-old woman from Chatham was killed Monday afternoon when another vehicle crossed the center line and struck her car head-on along U.S. Route 20 in Nassau, according to state police.
The crash occurred a few miles west of the Massachusetts border and left the other driver seriously injured.
Patricia A. Balcom, 80, of Chatham, died in a head-on crash between her westbound vehicle and an eastbound car on Route 66 near Kinderhook Lane in Nassau.
