An emergency medical technician sustained a crushing injury to their hand while responding to a call at 160 Franklin St. in Paterson on Jan. 4 at approximately 3 p.m. Emergency medical services reported the incident and requested police and Battalion 3 to the scene for security. The injured EMT was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
