Emergency responders handled a smoke damage incident at 43 Lake St. in Patchogue on Jan. 7. Fire crews arrived at the scene around 4:34 p.m. to ventilate the heavy smoke buildup. No injuries were reported in the initial response, according to the 1st Responder Wireless News Dispatch team, a division of Belsito Communications Inc.
