January 19, 2026 | Islip Terrace, NY

A person became trapped in a motor vehicle accident on the westbound Southern State Parkway off-ramp from Carleton Avenue. Suffolk County Police Department unit 307 reported the entrapment, which prompted requests for fire department and emergency medical services to assist with transport. The crash occurred on Jan. 19 at about 8:52 a.m.
