January 10, 2026 | Newark, NJ

Three vehicles collided at 280 1st St., leaving one person trapped inside their vehicle. Emergency crews deployed the jaws of life to extricate the victim as EMS teams assessed individuals at the scene. The crash took place early Jan. 10 around 2 a.m. Authorities have not yet released additional information regarding injuries or the cause of the incident.
