What Happened in the Crash?

A 17-year-old girl died and her twin sister suffered serious injuries after a single-vehicle accident in northeast Bakersfield.

The incident took place on Alfred Harrell Highway east of Fairfax Road.

All four occupants went to Kern Medical with moderate to serious injuries. Mirian Stephanie Ramirez Masin of Bakersfield died October 23 at the hospital, coroner officials confirmed.
