Smoke damage was reported at a residential building after food overheated in a microwave, prompting emergency services to respond. The incident took place Jan. 13 at 9:27 p.m. at 2 Aldersgate Dr., Building 8. Responders traced the smoke to burnt food in the microwave and vented it out successfully. There were no injuries, and the damage was limited to minor smoke effects on the building.
