Pedestrian fatally struck early Sunday morning near Paradise Road and Leon Avenue
MODESTO, CA, (October 27, 2024) - A pedestrian was fatally injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Modesto.
Miguel Vazquez was fatally injured early Sunday morning when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist near Paradise Road and Leon Avenue in Modesto.
The Modesto Police Department says Miguel Angel Vazquez was struck by a vehicle near Paradise Road and Leon Avenue at approximately 2:36 a.m.
Sadly, Vazquez died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
The driver involved fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.
