April 11, 2026 | Barkhamsted, CT

Emergency services responded to a serious motorcycle accident on East Hartland Road (Route 179) near 529 East Hartland Road, where the rider was down and CPR was in progress. First responders arrived at the scene following reports of a motorcycle involved in a motor vehicle accident. A Lifestar medical helicopter was requested for medevac transport, with additional medics en route to assist. The incident occurred April 11 at approximately 3:49 p.m. and remains under investigation.
