A 47-year-old woman died June 3 after a chain-reaction collision on northbound Highway 101.
Maryann Parrish, 47, died after a chain-reaction crash involving a Hyundai Sonata, a Ford Escape, a Chevrolet utility truck and a fourth vehicle on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Maryann Parrish was driving a Hyundai Sonata when it struck a Ford Escape that had slowed in traffic. A Chevrolet utility truck then hit Parrish’s vehicle from behind, causing a fourth vehicle in the right lane to become involved.
Parrish was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation remains active.
