March 15, 2026 | Monticello, NY

A man sustained a gunshot wound to the groin following an accidental firearm discharge at Resorts World Casino on Friday night. Emergency personnel quickly applied a tourniquet to the victim and prepared medevac transport for immediate evacuation. The incident took place at 555 Resorts World Drive in Monticello.

Subject w/ a Gunshot Wound to the groin area from an accidental discharge of a firearm. Tourniquet applied. Medevac on South Bound.

Authorities reported the shooting shortly before midnight on March 14.
