September 05, 2025 | Fort Worth, TX
Liam Park, 8, was injured in a hit-and-run collision on Sept. 5 while riding his bicycle at the Mercantile Square apartments near 3600 Vela Lane.
Witnesses said a man driving a black SUV struck Park at about 7:45 p.m., briefly exited the vehicle, and then drove away.
Liam Park was injured in a hit-and-run accident on September 5 outside an apartment complex in Fort Worth.
Park suffered wounds to his face and arms, and authorities are currently investigating and looking for the driver.
HIT-AND-RUN CRASH INVESTIGATION
In addition to the diligent work of law enforcement, an attorney can assist an injured victim and their family during a hit-and-run investigation.
An attorney is able to offer legal counsel and perform comprehensive investigations to collect evidence and identify witnesses, manage communications with insurance companies, and initiate lawsuits or claims for compensation. Approximately 11 percent of all crashes involve a hit-and-run driver.
Many suspects flee the scene because they are intoxicated, driving without a license, or are concerned about being arrested if they remain.
Candice Bond, an experienced hit-and-run accident attorney, stated that in cases such as this, it is imperative to have an independent investigation conducted by a seasoned attorney to protect a victim’s rights.
“Having the proper resources is crucial to investigating a hit-and-run accident case and proving negligence,” said Bond, a Managing Partner of Bond Legal. “Road conditions, signage visibility, and road lighting are all potential contributing factors that are considered and must be thoroughly examined. These procedures are necessary for helping someone who was a hit-and-run driver receive the justice and monetary compensation that they deserve.”
PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM
Liam Park may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. Candice Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal, noted that the stress and worry following a serious injury can be overwhelming, affecting family life, work, finances, and overall quality of life.
“Although no amount of money can undo a devastating injury, it’s important for victims to understand their legal rights and what they may be entitled to,” Bond said. “The injured victim in this collision may be eligible for an injury claim and could seek recovery for damages, including medical expenses, future medical care, pain and suffering, and emotional trauma.”
