A 25-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on July 4 in Sonoma, and 22-year-old Justin Flores has been charged in connection with the incident.
Authorities said the victim was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 22-year-old Justin Flores near the Safeway entrance at 477 West Napa Street around 8 p.m. Flores, from Boyes Hot Springs, fled the scene but later turned himself in and was charged with felony hit-and-run.
The injured motorcyclist was taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital for treatment. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
