CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED
America’s roads are becoming increasingly dangerous. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), an estimated 18,720 people were killed in motor vehicle crashes during the first half of 2024 alone.
While the cause and liability in each crash are typically investigated by law enforcement, Candice Bond, an experienced accident attorney and Managing Partner at Bond Legal, emphasized the importance of an independent legal investigation in cases involving serious or fatal collisions.
“In addition to the work of police investigators, an attorney can re-interview key witnesses, analyze surveillance footage, and obtain phone or texting records from the at-fault party,” said Bond, a national analyst for Newsline. “Time is of the essence in cases like this. Families must act quickly to ensure all critical evidence is preserved and thoroughly examined.”
WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM
Pending the investigation, the family members of Julieta Ayala may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. Family members of wrongful death victims may seek damages for loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress following a catastrophic accident.
“We understand that losing a loved one is not only a deeply emotional loss but also an economic one,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal.
“If you have lost a loved one due to someone else’s negligence, contact a wrongful death attorney and get the guidance needed to obtain the justice you deserve.”
