A fiery two-vehicle collision early Tuesday morning claimed the life of a 22-year-old man and left two others seriously injured.

Officers arrived to find one vehicle in flames with occupants trapped inside. First responders extricated the driver and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from the second vehicle were taken to a hospital.

The Tracy Police Traffic Safety Unit is leading the investigation and asks anyone with information to contact the department.
