Jordan Hosken Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Victory Boulevard and White Oak Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA, (June 20, 2025) - Jordan Hosken, 25, was tragically killed early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and White Oak Avenue, authorities confirmed.

Pedestrian FatalityJordan Hosken, 25, was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning in Los Angeles, according to a news release.

The fatal collision occurred around 2 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Preliminary reports indicate an unidentified vehicle struck Hosken, who died at the scene from blunt force trauma.

The driver involved has not been publicly identified, and no arrests have been announced. An investigation into the deadly incident remains ongoing.

CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED

One of the leading contributors to rising pedestrian fatalities nationwide is inadequate infrastructure—such as the lack of sidewalks, safe crosswalks, and proper street lighting—that leaves people vulnerable while walking. According to the Governors Highway Safety Association, 18 pedestrians are killed each day in the U.S., underscoring a crisis on America’s roads.

“Generally, pedestrians possess the right of way when crossing an intersection or a street,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal and an experienced pedestrian accident attorney.

In fatal pedestrian incidents like the one that claimed the life of Jordan Hosken, Bond stressed the importance of an independent investigation. “A lawyer can ensure that all possible evidence is preserved and examined—something especially vital when fault or negligence may be disputed,” she said.

WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM

“It is almost always a driver’s duty to yield to any pedestrian,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal. The family of Jordan Hosken may be entitled to a wrongful death claim.

“Family members of wrongful death victims may seek damages for loss of income and companionship, pain and suffering, funeral expenses, and emotional distress following a tragic or catastrophic accident,” said Bond.

“Insurance companies often try to pressure victims to settle for a quick payout for far less than the case is worth,” Bond noted. “However, an attorney will vigorously advocate for their client to ensure that they are treated with respect and compensated fairly.”
