A 53-year-old South Carolina woman working as an Uber driver died Sunday night after a southbound Cadillac crossed into her path on Gaston Day School Road, triggering a chain-reaction collision that injured four others. 

The Gastonia Police Department continues to investigate the incident that unfolded near Hoffman Road.
