Firefighters tackled smoke conditions at a home on Hunter Ridge Road early Monday after a furnace failure caused significant interior damage. Responders were called to 3 Hunter Ridge Road around 7:40 a.m. on Jan. 12 when residents reported smoke billowing from the building. The malfunction led to widespread smoke damage, though no one was hurt and flames did not extend beyond the furnace area.
