Firefighters responded to reports of heavy smoke coming from a three-story mixed-occupancy residential dwelling early Wednesday morning. The incident was reported at 7:02 a.m. on March 17, involving a 15-by-35-foot structure at 535 High St. Command upgraded the response to all hands because of the visible heavy smoke. Medics were dispatched to the front of the building to check for any potential injuries.
