Firefighters quickly contained a minor appliance fire in a two-story woodframe residence at the intersection of Annabelle Avenue and Patricia Place. The incident was reported on Jan. 12 at 4:11 p.m. Passaic County fire departments arrived on scene, knocked down the flames, and began venting the structure to clear smoke. No injuries were reported, and the fire was classified as minor.
