A minor oven fire broke out on the third floor of an apartment building but was quickly contained by firefighters. The incident occurred at 301 Third Street. Responders reported a smoke condition following the fire, which was effectively knocked down. Additional units were requested to stand by at a nearby hydrant, and a city health inspector was called to the scene.
