Firefighters Rescue Trapped Worker from Trench in Mt. Airy

Firefighters conducted an emergency trench rescue at a worksite in Mt. Airy on Jan. 9. Responding crews quickly arrived at the scene located at 2779 Pecks Drive near Davis Road and successfully extracted the trapped worker from the trench. Emergency medical services then transported the individual by ground ambulance for further evaluation.
